Don’t worry, you’re not the only one dying to watch The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window after hearing that hilariously long title as thousands of fans all over the world are also waiting to sink their teeth into this new Kristen Bell satire series.

The new show is slated to arrive on Netflix on, Jan. 28, but before you catch this release, we want to tell you all about the age rating so that you’re all ready for tomorrow.

The Woman in the House age rating

It looks like you won’t be able to watch The Woman in the House alongside younger ones because this Netflix original has been given a TV-MA age rating for reasons that not only include the show’s subject matter but also include the show’s fair share of frightening or intense scenes that may not be appropriate for kids.

Additionally, the series is reported by the streaming platform to have moments where violence, strong language, nudity, and substances can be seen. A few of these you can see in the official trailer for the film down below.

The Woman in the House may not be the best show to binge with the family, but there’s no need to panic just yet as there are plenty of hilarious spoofs on Netflix that serve as perfect substitutions for this series.

Adam Sandler’s The Ridiculous 6 is a TV-14 film poking all sorts of fun at Western dramas. The PG-13 film Scary Movie 4 is another great recommendation for everyone who loves how absurd some scary movies can be. And Documentary Now! starring Bill Hader, Fred Armisen, and Helen Mirren is a TV-14 masterpiece that puts a hilarious twist on famous documentaries you certainly know.

Now that you know both The Woman in the House‘s age rating as well as some great substitutions, all that’s left to do is get some popcorn and catch all of these hysterical spoofs on Netflix!
