Week in and week out, Disney+ continues to introduce subscribers to content. If not new content, the platform is giving us access to another beloved franchise, film, or TV show that we’ve been dying to rewatch. With the conclusion of January upon us, this is no exception.

In particular, we’re finally getting to see a sequel to a franchise we thought was iced out years ago. Even so, Disney is bringing it back to hopefully revive the fanbase or maybe gain an entirely new one. Nevertheless, this is another exciting week for releases.

Thus far in January, we’ve seen some hidden gems from our childhood pop up, some Nat-Geo content, and even a Marvel movie finally made its debut. Of course, that’s not to shortchange the rest of Disney’s originals within the other universes of Star Wars and Pixar.

If you’re looking for some new content for the weekend, we have you covered. If Disney+ is your streaming service of choice, these TV shows and movies should be on your watchlist.

Here’s everything released this week on Disney+ for your weekend watch

As with most of these last few weeks, Stars Wars has continued to appear again and again as a show about our favorite bounty hunter. However, Disney is setting sail with another franchise and giving us an entirely new adventure so let’s break it down.

  • Star Wars: Book of Boba Fett, Episode 5 (January 26th)
  • Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet Season 10, Eps 6-12 (January 26th)
  • Random Rings, Seasons 1 and 2 (January 26th)
  • The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild (January 28th)

As previously stated, Disney isn’t releasing nearly as much content but the content they are releasing is what fans have been waiting for. In particular, it’s going to be really cool to see the Ice Age gang again, and hopefully, find a new movie to love. If not, there is certainly something to enjoy this week between the few things Disney released.
