Becoming Elizabeth: Starz reveals first-look photos and new series details

Since it was first announced, fans have been looking forward to Becoming Elizabeth on Starz. During their TCA panel, the network dropped some exciting first-look images for the upcoming series and revealed what to expect.
The Starz network is no stranger to the genre, making Becoming Elizabeth the perfect series for them to kick off the year with. Other Starz favorites include Outlander and The Spanish Princess, so if you enjoy these two series, we highly suggest you check out Becoming Elizabeth when it arrives this summer.
What is Becoming Elizabeth on Starz about?
The series, created by playwright Anya Reiss, will tell audiences the untold story of England’s most iconic Queen, starting from before Elizabeth Tudor ascended the throne. As the official synopsis also shares, young Elizabeth was an orphaned teenager who became entangled in a world of politics overnight as she and her siblings are caught in a game between the great families of England. After the death of King Henry, a dangerous and treacherous scramble for power began.
Here’s the official synopsis from Starz:
"The world of “Becoming Elizabeth” is visceral, dangerous, and very bloody; a time in which every man or woman of the court is on the wheel of fortune, which may take them to a position of great power one moment, or the executioner’s block the next. Judgements are rendered quickly, and no one is safe."

Becoming Elizabeth release date updates
