How old is the cast of Euphoria?

Teen characters are rarely ever portrayed by actual teenage actors in teen-dramas. There’s nothing funnier than to learn that a high school sophomore is played by an almost 30-year-old man. How old is the cast of Euphoria? Can you guess how old Zendaya or Sydney Sweeney are? What about the actor who portrays Ashtray?

Euphoria, in particular, features dark themes such as addiction, sex, and violence. That said, the actors have to be of age to carry out these scenes. Now, sometimes, casting does an incredible job finding actors who can actually pass as a high school student. Other times, they completely miss it. Most recently, I can think of Ben Platt trying to pass as a high school student in Dear Evan Hansen. Such a fail! Platt is 28-years-old, so he is already up there, but, in my opinion, he looks even older (no disrespect).

• Sydney Sweeney, who plays Cassie, is 24-years-old.
• Angus Cloud, the beloved Fezo, is 23-years-old.
• Hunter Schafer, who is Jules in Euphoria, is 22-years-old.
• Alexa Demie, who portrays Maddy, is 31-years-old.
• Barbie Ferreira, Kat in Euphoria, is 25-years-old.
• Maude Apatow, the lovely Lexi Howard, is 24-years-old.
• Jacob Elordi, who plays Nate, is 24-years-old.
• Storm Reid, Gia Bennet, is 18-years-old.
• Javon Walton, the very loyal Ashtray, is 15-years-old.
• Austin Abrams, Ethan, Kat’s love interest, is 25-years-old.
• Dominic Fike, Euphoria newbie Elliot, is 26-years-old.

Now, Storm Reid and Javon Walton are teens, but Reid isn’t involved in the strong scenes the other characters are, but I am surprised about Walton! And Demie is over 30? I need her skincare secrets!
