Texas Chainsaw Massacre soundtrack: All the songs in the Netflix horror movie
By Sandy C.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre is now streaming on Netflix and, while it doesn’t seem to be a favorite, still features some good moments and lives up to the gore and violence the franchise is known for. But what about its soundtrack? Below, we share the Texas Chainsaw Massacre soundtrack for your listening pleasure (if you’re into the genre) and playlist.
The movie is, unfortunately, not the revival we were hoping for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise. The story isn’t strong, the dialogue is poor, but it doesn’t disappoint when it comes to the gore, so at least there’s that? Another thing to appreciate is the movie’s runtime. It is under 1 hour and 30 minutes, so it doesn’t take too much of your time.
Now, let’s get to the list of songs featured in the episode. Here are the most notable ones…
Texas Chainsaw Massacre soundtrack
- “The Valley” by Charley Crockett
- “Pay the Road” by Shakey Graves
- “Static Currents” by Sybreed
- “The Man That Time Forgot” by Charley Crockett
- “Don’t Wanna Be Lonely (Don’t Wanna Leave You Alone)” by Walker Lukens
- “Whiskey Fight” by Moving Panoramas
- “Save a Little” by Frase
- “Leatherface Theme” by Bullet Shields
The movie kicks off with a country song, and I have to say, I’m not the biggest fan of the genre so we weren’t off to a great start! Soon enough, I realized I was in for a country soundtrack so that’s another fail for me, just another thing to add to what I didn’t like about the movie. What was I expecting, though? The movie is set in Texas.
