X movie cast: Who stars in the horror movie?

X, also being called X movie, is in theaters Friday, March 18, and horror fans can’t wait to see the latest horror-slasher on the big screen! Curious about who stars in the movie and what it’s even all about? We’re here for you! Below, we share more about the cast in this upcoming A24 feature.

When it comes to any movie, not just horror, its success depends a lot on the cast. So, first, let’s see what X movie is about before we dive into who will be taking on these very interesting roles.

The movie will follow a film crew renting a farmhouse to record The Farmer’s Daughters, a porn movie. Unfortunately, their hosts, an older couple, have other plans for them. What are these sinister plans? You’ll have to watch the movie to find out! The X movie features all of our favorite horror movie tropes, with Texas Chainsaw Massacre vibes and even nods to other classics in the genre, such as The Shining.

I love the cast! And after screening the movie early, I can confirm they are all wonderful in their roles. I especially loved Jenna Ortega’s performance, as much as I knew I would! I’m calling it, she’s our next horror queen as she has proven herself to be in Scream 5 and now X. Here’s the X movie cast:

• Mia Goth stars as both Maxine, the star of the show. Goth also plays the old woman
• Jenna Ortega is Lorraine
• Martin Henderson stars as Wayne, the mastermind of these productions
• Scott Mescudi aka Kid Cudi stars as Jackson Hole
• Brittany Snow as Bobby-Lynne, one of the “farmer’s daughters”
• Owen Campbell as RJ, the cameraman and Lorraine’s boyfriend
• Stephen Ure as Howard, the farm’s owner
• James Gaylyn as Sheriff Dentler
