Where can you stream Robert Pattinson’s The Batman? Is it on HBO Max?

The wait is finally over and I am not sure there has been this much hype around a Batman movie ever. The Batman drops in theaters soon and the big question of the week is, will it be available on the small screen, big screen, or both? Here’s what you need to know about The Batman movie.

I still think there are many skeptical folks out there fighting the fact that Edward Cullen is playing Batman. For those skeptics, I say watch Good Time, and I promise you will change your mind about Robert Pattinson after one viewing. He is incredible in that film, but also, don’t you remember when the guy (Heath Ledger) from Brokeback Mountain was cast as Joker and everyone freaked out? Remember how that turned out?

We don’t have many details surrounding what’s ahead in Matt Reeve’s film other than we have seen Batman kickass in a ruthless way that I’ve always wanted to see from the superhero. We also know that the rest of the cast is LOADED. We’ve got Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Colin Farrell as the Penguin, just to name a few. I am EXCITED!

Where can you stream The Batman online from home?

UPDATE, APRIL 11: The Batman has been confirmed to become available on HBO Max beginning April 18, 2022.

Unfortunately, unlike most movies being released these days, The Batman will not be streaming online on any streaming platform. The film was delayed due to the pandemic so that it could be released in theaters, and Warner Bros. is banking on the fact this could (and it should) be a massive box office hit for them. They lost quite a lot of money last year with the dual-release of their films and looking to get back on track in 2022.

I will say, the 45-day theatrical window could be in play if, for some reason, the film underperforms. If that’s the case or a streaming release is announced shortly after the movie premieres in theaters, we’ll update you! When the movie does, however, get a streaming release, its streaming home will likely be HBO Max.

The Batman hits theaters on March 4, 2022.
