It’s All Coming Back to Me release date, cast, synopsis and more

I know Outlander fans may be on top of the news for the upcoming film, It’s All Coming Back to Me even more than Celine Dion stans. If you’re a Heughligan, aka a Sam Heughan fan (like me!), then you know the actor has been working on the new movie alongside Dion and actress Priyanka Chopra.

The team behind the Sony Screen Gems film are writer and director Jim Strouse, producers Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Esther Hornstein, and executive producers Doug Belgrad, Sophie Cassidy, Louise Killin, Jonathan Fuhrman, and Dion herself.

It’s All Coming Back to Me is based on SMS für Dich, a 2016 German film. The romantic drama was formerly titled “Text For You.” The change in name comes from Jim Steinman’s song “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now,” which became popular thanks to Dion’s hit cover of the tune in 1996.

It’s All Coming Back to Me release date

Filming for the movie began in late 2020 in London and wrapped in early 2021. After a bit of a long wait, we now have a release date! It’s All Coming Back to Me will be hit the big screen on Feb. 10, 2023. Just in time for Valentine’s Day!

It’s All Coming Back to Me synopsis

We don’t have an official synopsis yet, but we do have an idea of what the movie is all about. According to Variety, Chopra’s character is finding it hard to move on after she loses her fiancé. She starts to send messages to his old phone number which has been reassigned to another man, played by Heughan, who is also suffering a heartbreak. The two end up meeting each other and forming a connection.

Dion will portray herself. The singer and her music ultimately gives the two the courage to take a chance on love again. Heughan recently appeared on the “Just for Variety” podcast and said Dion has recorded a new song for the film.

The Outlander actor is excited, and I certainly am! I love the premise of the film and I know it’s just going to melt my heart. Heughan shared a photo of he and Chopra’s characters on his Twitter with a first look image.
