In one of the latest clips from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Karl Mordo tells Stephen Strange that his “reckoning is long overdue.” We are all about to find out what Mordo means soon enough!

At the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Strange believed he closed the portal to the multiverse, sending every villain back to its correct timeline. However, things never go according to plan as the Master of the Mystic Arts will have to take on the multiverse and team up with allies, both old and new, to defeat a new threat.

Benedict Cumberbatch reprises his role as Doctor Strange. At the time of this film’s release, it will be about 6 years since the first solo outing for Strange in the MCU.

The sequel to Doctor Strange arrives in theaters on May 6, 2022. There will be showings of the film as early as the night before, May 5. Tickets are now on sale so check your local theaters for showtimes.

As previously mentioned, Cumberbatch returns in the role of the titular character. Alongside Strange will be Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Karl Mordo, Benedict Wong as Wong, Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez, Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West, and Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer.

Patrick Stewart will appear as a version of Professor Charles Xavier, a character he made famous in the X-Men films. With the multiverse open, bet on more characters from different universes showing up at some point.
