When does Ghosts return with new episodes?

Ghosts has wrapped up its first season. There’s no doubt that we want more, and more is coming. The question is when the new episodes will arrive.

There is no doubt that Ghosts quickly stole our hearts. It became our favorite new comedy of the 2021–2022 season, making it clear that moving away from the multi-camera comedy style that used to work isn’t a bad thing.

It didn’t take long for CBS to renew the comedy. In fact, it was one of the first shows renewed among all broadcast shows, making it clear that CBS was more than happy with the way the live ratings were performing. Now that the first season has come to an end, we want to know when Season 2 will premiere.

When will Ghosts Season 2 premiere on CBS?

We don’t yet have a premiere date. That’s not too surprising. It is only April 2022 at the time of writing this. CBS won’t announce its fall 2022 schedule until May at its Upfronts.

We are expecting the series to remain in the fall schedule. After all, it proved itself to be a successful series and CBS won’t want to move it to the midseason when there are still some fall comedies potentially on the chopping block.

We’re expecting to see the series keep its timeslot, which is Thursdays at 9/8c. It could be moved a half-hour earlier, but that will depend on the comedies or plans CBS has for the Thursday night schedule.

When will the fall season start? This is usually the last full week of September. We won’t get the exact premiere dates until June or July 2022, but we’re expecting sometime around Thursday, Sept. 22 or Thursday, Sept. 29 for Ghosts Season 2 to premiere on CBS.
