Who was the wedding singer on This Is Us?

This is Us is gearing up for its last batch of episodes before its series finale. “Day of the Wedding” officially closed the Katoby chapter, opened up a new one for Kate and Phillip, and showed us how Rebecca’s health continues to decline.

Also in the episode was Madison and Beth’s hilarious attempt at trying to figure out who Kevin spent the previous night with. There’s three possible contenders: his ex-wife Sohpie, his friend Cassidy who he’s already slept with, or the wedding singer.

That last one was a curveball none of us saw coming. She’s a totally random choice, and I know fans aren’t very happy about her and Kevin being possible end game. So who is she? Let’s find out!

In terms of the character, the wedding singer’s name is Arielle. That’s pretty much all we know about her. She made her debut in this episode and we’re all a bit confused as to why she’s Kevin’s potential True Love.

After six seasons and Kevin’s trouble at truly finding love during the course of that time, it would be a shame if Arielle became a future Pearson. Also, it’s sad that five years into the future, Kevin still hasn’t found The One. But he’s getting there. And, hopefully it’s not with Arielle. It has to be with either Sophie or Cassidy. Those two are who we’ve emotionally invested in.

The actress behind the character is 39-year-old Katie Lowes. She’s best known for her role as Quinn Perkins in Scandal, as well as for her role in Inventing Anna. She played Rachel DeLoache in the Netflix drama.
