Our hearts are aching and our jaws are on the floor after one of the most intense and devastating episodes of Better Call Saul yet! Who dies in Better Call Saul season 6 episode 3? Spoilers ahead!

Final spoiler warning! If you missed or haven’t watched Better Call Saul season 6 episode 3, please note there are significant spoilers below. Go watch the episode on AMC or AMC+ before reading ahead.

Better Call Saul season 6 episode 2 doesn’t leave Nacho Varga (Michael Mando) in a very safe place. In fact, episode 3 is titled “Rock And Hard Place” because that’s exactly where we find Nacho when the episode begins. Audiences spent the majority of the episode wondering how fan-favorite Nacho was going to get out of this situation.

Who died in Better Call Saul season 6 episode 3?

Unfortunately, Nacho Varga dies in season 6 episode 3. Now, I think it’s safe to say that we all knew this was coming, whether we want to admit it or not, but this early? Who would’ve thought? Not me!

This is only the third episode of season 6! Episode 3 out of 13! Nacho Varga, gone too soon. And what a way to go. Such brilliant writing and storytelling, but it still truly hurts to see Nacho go, especially by his own hand.

In the final moments of Better Call Saul season 6 episode 3, Gus (Giancarlo Esposito) delivers Nacho to Hector (Mark Margolis) and his men. The plan is for Nacho to put the blame on someone else so Hector won’t suspect Gus. Then, before Hector can brutally kill Nacho, Mike (Jonathan Banks) is supposed to shoot Nacho to give him a quick and painless death. Nacho, however, takes Juan Bolsa’s (Javier Grajeda) gun and shoots himself. We. Were. Shook. Again, we didn’t think the end for Nacho would be here so soon.

This leaves us with Kim Wexler, another fan favorite who we all know is headed down the wrong path and in possible danger! You won’t want to miss a single episode! Watch Better Call Saul season 6 episode 4, “Hit and Run,” directed by the wonderful Rhea Seehorn, on Monday, May 2, 2022, on AMC or AMC+.
