Happy Ozark series finale to each of you that is celebrating this weekend. Below, we share the best new movies to watch in theaters and films available on streaming services that you won’t want to miss.
We have quite a quiet week in the world of films this weekend. I spoke two weeks ago about how studios knew that everyone would watch The Kardashians and not show up to theaters, this week I know for sure we are all watching the end of one of the best Netflix shows ever in Ozark. Let’s check out the movies coming this weekend.
New movies to watch in theaters and streaming
- Memory, Theaters
- Crush, Hulu
- I Love America, Prime Video
- Honeymoon with My Mother, Netflix
- The Aviary, VOD
- Fortress: Sniper’s Eye, VOD
Liam Neeson has yet another movie coming out this weekend in Memory, and guess what? He is playing a hired assassin. I feel like we’ve seen this story about a trillion times. Although, I will admit, this is the second Liam Neeson movie this year that I knew nothing about until writing about it for these features.
One of the bigger releases of the weekend is Crush which comes out on Hulu. The film follows an aspiring young artist who joins her track team and later falls in love unexpectedly with her teammate. The movie stars Rowan Blanchard as our lead with Sammi Cohen in the director’s chair.
One big suggestion I have for you all is to check out Everything Everywhere All At Once if you can. It’s one of the most original films you will see this year that will have you laughing, crying, and in awe of the breathtaking story the Daniels give us.
Will you be watching any of these movies over the weekend? Will you enjoy a movie in theaters or on streaming? Or will you be too busy watching Ozark to go to the movies?
