What time is Spy x Family episode 4 coming out?

We’re only a couple more hours away until we get to see a brand-new episode of Spy x Family, the anime everyone’s been talking about!

So far, we’ve been introduced to all of our eccentric main characters as well as what their respective missions are. However, in the anime’s last episode, we got to take a quick break from the action and were allowed to truly see whether this fake family situation would be convincing to anyone, especially Eden College.

The third episode also filled us in on a few more interesting aspects of our beloved characters. But before we dive into all the drama of episode 3, we want to tell you when you can expect episode 4 to release so you don’t miss a single second of what’s to come.

Spy x Family episode 4 release time

Episode 4 of Spy x Family, titled “The Prestigious School’s Interview”, will release Saturday, Apr. 30 at 11:30 a.m. ET/8:30 a.m. PT on Crunchyroll.

Spy x Family episode 3 recap

We begin the episode with Yor Forger moving into her new location for her mission.

Our deadly assassin shows her softer side as she settles into the new household where the adorable Anya and the enigmatic Loid currently reside. She quickly becomes accustomed to her new surroundings which seems like a good sign to Loid, hence why he took it upon himself to quiz his new family to ensure they’re ready for their upcoming interview with Eden College.

Unfortunately, they were not.

Worried, Loid takes them out to various locations to help them get used to their new lives as upper-class citizens. The opera house, the museum, the tailor, and the photographer are all places they visit on their first outing as a family. The outing was a pretty nice introduction to the lavish life Anya and Yor will be regular partakers in overall. However, during their quick lunch break, Anya and Yor mess up once again, leaving Loid pondering whether he’ll actually be able to carry out his mission if he has to depend on these two.

Seeing him trapped in his thoughts, Yor proposes the family go for a walk to take a break. Here, the family enjoys a moment of peace, taking in the sights of their beautiful town.

Just when they’ve truly managed to relax as one, they see a thief snatch an elderly woman’s purse. Loid initially lets the crime go, but after seeing his wife leap into action to track down the purse-snatcher, he, too, hunts him down. The thief quickly blends in with the crowd, leaving Anya with no choice but to use her mind-reading powers to track down the culprit. Because of their individual efforts, the trio was able to save the day.

In the end, Yor and Loid were thanked by the elderly woman for their heroic deeds. The woman then complimented them on how adorable of a family they are, letting Loid (and ourselves) know Operation Strix may be a success after all.

Based on episode 4’s preview, it looks like this family is finally heading to their Eden College interview. What questions will they be asked? Who will they meet? And, most importantly, just who is Loid Forger about to punch? All these questions and more are sure to be answered very soon!
