The Staircase synopsis

The Staircase follows the life of The Peterson family after the family’s matriarch suddenly took a spill on the stairs, falling to her death. However, before the deadly fall, the slain woman had several bruises and lacerations on her body, making it clear that this was no accident—somebody took the life of this woman.

Could Peterson’s patriarch, Michael, be the culprit? After all, he has his fair share of secrets that no one in his family knew, not even his wife. Or could there be another assailant? A person who no one thought it would be?
