Is The Flash cancelled? 2022 has brought the end of several Arrowverse series which has left fans of The Flash understandably on high alert.

In a normal year, the Arrowverse shows would be shoo-ins for renewals and often would be among the first shows to get picked up for the next season. However, the 2021-2022 season has marked the end of what has been a glorious era for fans of DC Comics.

As the season kicked off, we bid farewell to the Girl of Steel with the conclusion of Supergirl after six seasons. Saying goodbye was awful, but at least we got closure in the form of a final season — a courtesy not extended to fellow Arrowverse series Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow. Both Legends and Batwoman were cancelled without getting proper sendoffs which has left fans in a frenzy and wanting more.

With so many Arrowverse series coming to a close, it’s reasonable to question whether The Flash has run out of time as well.

While The CW has cancelled nearly all of the Arrowverse dramas, the good news is that The Flash has not been cancelled and will return for the 2022-23 season. It remains to be seen whether the upcoming season will be its last, but fans can at least rest assured that The Flash has not been cancelled at the moment.
