The big networks have brought out the ax.

In what’s being described as a blood bath, shows are getting cancelled left and right as ABC, CBS, The CW, Fox, and NBC make room on their networks for the 2022-2023 TV season.

It’s a sad time for fans. The CW alone has cancelled nine shows. CBS isn’t too far behind them. They’re sitting at seven shows cancelled. Among them is B Positive and, shockingly, Magnum P.I.

If you’re worried about United States of Al‘s fate, unfortunately, we won’t be the bearer of good news.

Was United States of Al cancelled?

Yes, the sophomore series has been cancelled by CBS. This news comes a week ahead of the show’s finale which will now serve as its series finale. To be honest, this is certain to take the wind out of any viewer’s sales but, at least, United States of Al will wrap up its season.

The finale is tilted, “Chaos/Aashob,” and it will focus on relationships. Riley is set to tell Freddy about his relationship with Vanessa. Meanwhile, Cindy’s possessiveness over Al will grow. By the looks of the synopsis, it seems viewers will be in for humor, as is par for the course with this show, and some drama as well.

In light of United States of Al‘s cancellation, we hope the majority of the show’s storylines will be tied up nicely in the season 2 finale. The series won’t be getting a season 3 to expand upon its narrative so, if the show ends on a cliffhanger, fans could be left with questions and without resolved plots.
