Daria was the show that every angsty teen needed growing up.

The hit animated show taught its audiences a lot about how to feel the ugly emotions society tells us not to feel. Be it feeling insecure about one’s self or having anger toward your ex, Daria was never afraid to cover any emotion or topic. What’s more, the show highlighted loads of different characters from all walks of life, so it helped audiences relate to the material that much more.

With all this in mind, it doesn’t come as a surprise to us that, nearly 22 years later, Daria is still regarded as an animated series adored by all. Although we had to bid a farewell to the show in 2001, fans will be excited to know that there is a spin-off film on the way!

The upcoming film will follow the life of Daria’s fellow high school peer Jodie and is slated to have a cast full of actors and actresses you absolutely know and love.

As always, exciting things are on the way! Read on to learn the main cast of the upcoming animated film, Jodie.

  • Jojo T. Gibbs as Tiffany – Lives in Jodie’s building and is Cas’ ex.

  • Arden Myrin as Britney – The former Lawndale cheerleader from Daria turned influencer at FirstFinity.
  • Kal Penn as Sandeep – Another fellow intern who is a fitness-obsessed, tech bro.

  • Kofi Siriboe as Raymond – Jodie’s incredibly handsome, but not-so-friendly supervisor at FirstFinity.

And last but not least, playing Jodie, the lead character you’ve heard so much about, is none other than black-ish actress Tracee Ellis Ross. Jodie is described as an ambitious recent college graduate who is excited to start her internship at FirstFinity.
