Mother and son working together is a big first step toward mending their fragile, dysfunctional relationship, and they may even come away with a better understanding of each other at this pivotal point in their lives. But whether Margaret and Todd will be able to accept each other for who they are is another case entirely. Are you ready to hear some more exciting information about the upcoming CBS series So Help Me Todd? We sure do hope so because this title has given us some really nice content already!

Earlier this week, the comedy drama gave us a brand-new trailer for the series. In the teaser, we got to learn a little more about the overall story and the feel of the show, both of which are sure to please audiences all over the globe. In addition to this, we also got to see the faces of all the people set to appear in the series. (Two words—Skylar. Astin.)

So Help Me Todd cast

As mentioned before, Skylar Astin will play the lead role in So Help Me Todd.

Astin will play the role of Todd, a former private detective who recently hit a funk in life, while his stickler mother, Margaret Wright, who wants to help him get back on his feet, will be played by Tony Award-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden.

Along with Astin and Harden, the cast of So Help Me Todd includes:

  • Madeline Wise as Allison
  • Tristen J. Winger as Lyle
  •  Inga Schlingmann as Susan
  • Rosa Arredondo as Francey

CBS also reports Liz Kruger, Elizabeth Klavite, Dr. Phil McGraw, Jay McGraw, Julia Eisenman, and Silicon Valley’s Scott Prendergast will serve as our executive producers for the series, which means we are definitely going to enjoy every single second of the new title.
