We have officially made it to the weekend. So let’s sit down, grab food from your favorite restaurant and watch a movie. Below, we share the best new movies to watch in theaters and films available on streaming services that you won’t want to miss.

One of my favorite things about writing these articles is to help you navigate your weekend a little easier. We try to give you a one-stop-shop for all your movie needs. We have an electric slate of movies coming out this weekend.

New movies to watch in theaters and streaming

  • Downtown Abbey: A New Era, Theaters
  • Men, Theaters
  • Chip N Dale: Rescue Rangers, Disney+
  • The Valet, Hulu
  • Jackass 4.5, Netflix
  • A Perfect Pairing, Netflix

One of the more intriguing options of the weekend is the A24 film, MEN. The film follows Harper, who retreats to the English countryside after suffering through a personal tragedy in hopes of finding a place to heel. Do I need to go further? It’s a horror movie and we know nothing is going as planned. The film stars Academy Award-nominated actress Jesse Buckley and if you haven’t seen the trailer, we have put it below; it is wild!

Downtown Abbey fans can rejoice because the film that has been pushed several times is finally hitting theaters in Downtown Abbey: A New Era. Over on the streaming platforms, we have a pair of films dropping in Jackass 4.5 which is a collection of cut scenes from Jackass Forever and we have Victoria Justice returning to Netflix in the Perfect Pairing. I will admit, I am a sucker for Justice’s work and the trailer for this one looks like the perfect rom-com to watch with your significant other.

What will you be watching this weekend? Will you enjoy a movie in theaters or on a streaming platform?
