We all love the award shows out there, and this year’s MTV Movie & TV Awards is right around the corner! We’re going to see who gets to take home the golden popcorn on June 5.

There’s lots of great actors, movies, television shows, and other works up for nominations. It’s going to be so hard to choose a winner! Spider-Man: No Way Home leads this year’s list with seven nominations, The Batman has four, and Euphoria totals at six.

Executive producers for the MTV Movie & TV Awards are MTV’s Bruce Gillmer, Wendy Plaut and Vanessa Whitewolf, as well as Jesse Ignjatovic and Barb Bialkowski.

Of course we definitely care about the nominees, but we also want to know who’s leading us through the exciting show! Who is up for the task this year?

Vanessa Hudgens hosting MTV Movie & TV Awards

MTV has tapped actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens to host this 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards, airing live from Los Angeles! Check out @MTVAwards’ video announcement on Twitter!

Hudgens is no stranger to hosting duties for MTV. She previously emceed the MTV Movie & TV Awards: Greatest of All Time special in 2020. She did an awesome job then, and we have no doubt she’s going to nail her hosting duties once again!

The MTV Movie & TV Awards will air on MTV and the other Paramount channels including BET, Comedy Central, MTV2, Paramount Network and VH1. The awards ceremony will be followed by the Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted, which recognizes reality TV, talk shows, and documentaries. That will air at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
