Ghostbusters (1984) is one of our favorite movies to watch each Halloween season! But it’s a great movie to enjoy at any time of the year, such as when a new season of Stranger Things premieres on Netflix.

Stranger Things 4 part 1is now streaming, and there are plenty of reference that give audiences nostalgia. Ghostbusters has been mentioned before, our Hawkins gang even dressed up like the Ghostbusters one season, and it’s apparently a favorite because it was referenced once again in the latest season. And why wouldn’t it be? Who doesn’t love the iconic 80s movie?

Now, there are many Ghostbusters movies, including a super fun, modern reboot. However, is there a better one than the original from 1984? I don’t think so. At least, not in my opinion. Below, we share where you can stream Ghostbusters (1984) after you complete your Stranger Things binge-watch.

Where can you watch Ghostbusters (1984) online?

The movie stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Harold Ramis, and Rick Moranis. It premiered on June 8, 1984, surprisingly over the summer instead of closer to Halloween. Still, that didn’t stop it from becoming a Halloween favorite!

While you are free to rent or purchase the movie from where you regularly rent/buy your movies, such as  Vudu, Apple TV, and Prime Video, you can stream the 1984 classic free on Hulu, Sling TV, and fuboTV, with a subscription. Ghostbusters 2 is also streaming on these three platforms. The 2016 reboot, Ghostbusters is streaming on Hulu, Sling TV, and FXNOW. Finally, the most recent film Ghostbusters: Afterlife, is on Starz, Prime Video, Hulu, The Roku Channel, Philo, and Sling TV.
