When does Fox’s Animation Domination return in 2022?

After years of failing to find a solid replacement, Fox seems to have a handle on its Animation Domination lineup again.

For years, most people recall the Animation Domination lineup being made up of The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, and Bob’s Burgers. Eventually, it shifted again with American Dad being replaced by Bless The Harts. After Bless the Harts was canceled, The Great North replaced the show.

Thankfully, it seems like The Great North was the right call as the “Animation Domination” moniker is true once again. No doubt a lot of fans are clamoring to see when all of their favorite fictional families are returning with new episodes.

Fox made us wait for a little, but the company eventually released premiere dates for all of its shows including its Animation Domination lineup.

When does Fox’s Animation Domination block return with new episodes?

As reported by TV Line, Fox’s entire Animation Domination block will return with new seasons on September 25th. As with the previous year, the timeslots for all of the shows won’t be changing, either so basically, it’s a waiting game.

The Simpsons will kick things off at 8 pm with Season 34 followed by Season 3 of The Great North at 8:30 pm. Bringing up the rear is Season 13 of Bob’s Burgers at 9 pm and finally, Season 21 of Family Guy premieres at 9:30 pm. As you can see, Fox is keeping things consistent and making sure all of its shows return at the timeslot we’ve come to know.

The Simpsons are headed for unprecedented territory for animated shows while Family Guy is right on its heels. Meanwhile, Bob’s Burgers is fresh off the hype of a feature film, and The Great North is likely to continue as a solid companion to the Belchers. Overall, the Animation Domination lineup is as solid as it’s been in years.

Honestly, the date doesn’t come as much of a surprise. Fox usually has its animation domination lineup returning at the end of September. It was just a matter of the network actually settling on a date but most of us likely aren’t shocked by the date chosen for the Fall 2022 premiere. Either way, it’s nice to know what date to put on our calendars to see some of our favorite animated families.
