Where is the cast of Charmed now?

The OG Charmed will always have a special place in our hearts. Want to see what the stars are up to now? Here’s a look at where they are in 2022.

Can you believe it’s been more than 20 years since Charmed first premiered? Originally, the show originally cast Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs, and Lori Rom as the three sisters. Chris Boyd was originally cast as Andy Trudeau. This unaired pilot is available to watch online on places like YouTube.

Rom and Boyd were recast and the pilot episode was reshot. This led to the casting of Alyssa Milano as Phoebe Halliwell and T.W. King as Andy. Milano was originally billed last in the credits, but her name was moved up to third billing between Combs and King after the sixth episode.

Since then, the stars of the series have gone onto many other projects. Where are they right now? What can you watch them in? We’re taking a look at all the main cast members from the eight seasons along with a few other special members of the cast who stand out the most for fans.

Shannen Doherty

Shannen Doherty was the biggest name on the series from the start. She’d come off the back of 90210, and there were plenty of people ready to watch the series for her. She played eldest sister Prue, who was more like a mother than a big sister to her sisters.

Prue made the ultimate sacrifice in the third season finale. However, there was a lot of things that went down behind the scenes, and I don’t think we’re ever going to find out the full truth about them. Doherty didn’t appear at all in the rest of the series, with body doubles used now and then for her. She wasn’t even in the series finale (or any of the photos used in the episode!).

She has been in a number of shows and movies since, including the 90210 revival BH90210. Sadly, Doherty has had a long battle with breast cancer over recent years, and she did step back from acting. She seems to be back in the game with some TV movies in various stages of production.

Holly Marie Combs

Combs was well known for Picket Fences before landing the role of Piper Halliwell in the series. After the third season, she gained a producer credit for the series, which she held through to the end of the series. She is the only actress to appear in all episodes of the series, including the unaired pilot.

Since the series ended, Combs’s biggest role is as Ella Montgomery, Aria’s mom, in Pretty Little Liars. She appeared in 86 episodes of the series, and reacted just like any mom would when finding out her daughter was dating a teacher.

She has also appeared in an episode of Grey’s Anatomy. This was a big episode with Alyssa Milano also guest starring, and yes, the two played sisters who got news their third sister had died.

Her most recent acting credit is Homeward Bound: Survivng the Coronavirus for one episode. She does a lot of conventions, though.
