My Policeman teaser trailer

We only get glimpses to what we can expect, but already we can see some of the drama and turmoil that’s going to unfold. In one quick shot, it seems like policeman Tom Burgess (Styles) burns his uniform. Perhaps he’s fed up with the restrictions of society? After all, he’s forced to repress his feelings and can’t be with the person he loves.

My Policeman is set in 1950s Brighton, England. The movie takes us on a journey with a forbidden love story and changing social conventions. Tom Burgess is gay but living in a society where it’s illegal to be so. He decides to marry schoolteacher Marion Taylor (Corrin), but is also in a relationship with museum curator Patrick Hazelwood (Dawson) at the same time.

The teaser shows that three seem to spend a lot of time together. How much does Marion know and what happens when she finds out her husband’s true feelings? Flashing forward to the 1990s, we’ll see how this trio is still reeling with longing and regret. But now they have one more chance to repair the damage of the past.
