Another weekend means we need to prepare our list of movies and shows to watch over the next couple of nights (or days, we’re not judging). If you’re in the mood for horror, you’ve come to the right place! Below, we share five Netflix horror movies and shows to stream this weekend, June 17, for a spooky binge-watch.

Though we enjoy Halloween season the most for watching horror movies and shows, we are always down to streaming horror! It’s never the wrong time to do so. If you agree, you’ve come to the right place!

Unfortunately, the streaming titan has not released many horror features lately. However, what we love about Netflix is that it already has plenty for subscribers to watch. Of all streaming platforms available (and there are so many), Netflix has the largest library. That said, we may not be sharing new releases, but with so much to select from, there may have been a few you missed

Netflix horror movies and shows to stream this weekend, June 17

Girl on the Third Floor

You may have seen The Woman on the Window, and even The Woman Across the Street From the Girl in the Windowbut have you heard of Girl on the Third Floor? We didn’t think so.

The movie follows a man who moves to a new home with his family, hoping for a fresh start, but the Victorian house they now live in quickly proves to give them more trouble than peace. Girl on the Third Floor is only 1 hour and 32 minutes long and is rated TV-MA, the movie stars CM Punk, Trieste Kelly Dunn, Sarah Brooks, and others.

Haunted: Latin America

This is a series that includes five episodes. The longest episode is 47 minutes, and the shortest is 26 minutes, so you can definitely binge this over the weekend.

When it comes to horror, is there a genre more frightening than tales from Latin America? Each episode of the series follows a haunting story.

Demonic

Demonic is an R-rated movie that follows a group of young amateur ghost hunters investigating an abandoned house. Unfortunately, for the newbies, they get more than they bargained for. The movie stars Maria Bello, Frank Grillo, Cody Horn, and others.

Crime Scene: The Vanishing At The Cecil Hotel

If you enjoy true crime documentaries, this is one you have to stream. Crime Scene: The Vanishing At The Cecil Hotel details the disappearance of Elisa Lam, a young woman who was last seen at the hotel and later found dead. This is a limited series featuring four episodes.

Ghost Lab

Again, we love foreign stories! Ghost Lab follows two doctors who witness a haunting and become determined to capture scientific proof that ghosts are real. Will anyone believe them.

Now, please note that not all of these shows and movies are great. Let’s just say, the stories can be a little out there and the acting isn’t necessarily A+. But they still offer a spooky good time! What will you be streaming this weekend?
