These next two Disney+ summer movies scream summer from start to finish

For most of us, summer is about spending time in the water. Whether it’s at the lake, a pool, or the beach, a lot of us are looking for ways to cool off. The first movie that comes to mind is easily Moana. A majority of Moana takes place on the water as we follow Moana as she’s trying to find the Heart of Te Fiti and the adventures she gets into along the way including meeting Maui and realizing how strong she truly is.

Released back in 2016, Moana remains a summer staple with its catchy songs, fun plot line, and surprisingly intense storyline for its main character. While it can be intense at times, the film is perfect for families and anyone young and old who wants to watch an adventure story with no romance whatsoever.

Speaking of no romance, another summer film worth watching on Disney+ is Lilo and Stitch. Released back in 2022, the film follows Lilo as she befriends Stitch and the shenanigans the two end up getting into. The film also features an incredible sibling bond between Lilo and her sister, Nani. Ultimately, the entire film is about family so it’s perfect to watch with your loved ones.

Considering that even kids now love Stitch, no doubt this is an awesome one to have on your Disney+ watchlist. Once again, this is another Disney+ movie with very little romance. It also doesn’t feature many songs, either so it’s a fun yet unique summer watch.
