With summer officially starting and people wanting to get out in the sun, it’s understandable that many want to glow up their appearances and feel comfortable in their own skin. Of course, every body is a bikini body, but if someone wants to get some exercise and eat better just to feel good, they have every right! And it looks like Loose Women star Denise Welch has that idea, as evidenced by her recent social media activity.

As reported by Hello! Magazine, the 64-year-old television personality took the time to reveal her upcoming health retreat plans by commenting on fellow star Shirley Ballas’ Instagram post. But while many people are applauding the ladies for this retreat, others are cautious to believe it either works or that it’s healthy.

The 61-year-old English dancer took to her social media to share a video and plenty of photos of her enjoying herself at the Juice Master Retreats, which, according to their website, is a program that includes meditation, daily yoga, inspirational films, daily fitness, and a juicing diet. Ballas gushed about her experience in her Instagram post caption, writing in part, “To all involved from behind the scenes to all instructors, it was a ten from me.”

Fans flocked to the comments section to leave their thoughts, and couldn’t help but notice Welch chime in with: “I can’t wait to go [clapping hands emojis].” Ballas was quick to respond: “you have no idea it was phenomenal.” A juicing diet is certainly not for everyone, and commenters made note of their hesitancy under the post. One person said, “So confused as I really got into juicing but have then read lots since about how [it’s] pointless because you lose the fibre etc.”

Another person focused on the video Ballas posted, commenting, “Looks amazing, but as always, all super skinny folk that put me off places like this.”

Juicing, just like other dieting fads, isn’t necessarily always good for you. According to Everyday Health, some juices can counteract medication a person might be prescribed, so it’s always smart to consult with your doctor if you’re going on a juicing diet. On top of that, a juice-only diet means you’ll be consuming a lot of sugar, which can also be bad for your health. And depending on one’s body, sometimes juice cleanses just won’t work the way they are expected.

All in all, juicing isn’t necessarily good or bad — it really depends on the person and how it’s done. Based on Denise Welch’s social media activity and active career, it seems she’s pretty healthy, so fans shouldn’t be concerned about her going on this retreat. Check out this photo of her below living her best life!

We’ll be on the lookout to see if Welch shares any photos of videos from the juicing retreat.
