The almost 3-hour musical biopic chronicles will tell the story of Elvis Presley over a 20-year span, from his early days as a child to becoming the infamous rock and roll legend and movie star. There will be a focus on his “complicated relationship” with his manager, and we’ll meet his wife Priscilla whom he shared a daughter with.

Butler was born Aug. 17, 1991 in Anaheim, California.. That means he’s 30 years old. When he was 13, he was approached by a representative from a background acting management company at the Orange County Fair, who helped him get started in the entertainment industry.

He and actress Ashley Tisdale worked together on two films. The first was the 2009 movie Aliens in the Attic. The two then reunited for the High School Musical spin-off film Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure. He also played Tex Watson in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood in 2019.

On TV, he guest starred on multiple Disney Channel and Nickelodeon shows including Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place, Jonas, iCarly, and Zoey 101. In more recent years, he played James “Wilkie” Wilkerson in a recurring role on Switched at Birth and Sebastian Kydd on The Carrie Diaries.
