Peacock’s comedy series, Killing It, made its debut on the streaming service in March 2022. And fans of the show who enjoyed all the laughs are wondering if a second season is happening.

The first season consisted of 10 episodes. It was all about class, capitalism, and a man’s quest to achieve the American dream – which turned out to be in the form of hunting some slithering reptiles. I would not have signed up for that!

The sitcom introduced us to Craig Foster, a bank security guard living in Miami and struggling to make ends meet. Craig and his ex-wife Camille uneasily co-parent their preteen daughter, Vanessa. A chance encounter with Jillian, a down on her luck driver, leads him to a python slaying competition which he believes will allow him to achieve his dreams. And for this hopeful entrepreneur, a $20,000 cash prize will probably do just that.

Season 1 took us on a road of laughs. So will we be getting more of the comedy series?

Is Killing It season 2 happening?

Killing It season 2 is officially happening, according to Variety! The outlet reports series lead Craig Robinson will be back. Co-showrunner Dan Goor, who co-created Brooklyn Nine-Nine, reunited with Robinson on this project. In B99, Robinson played Jake’s frenemy, Doug Judy.

It’s very likely Stephanie Nogueras as Camille, Claudia O’Doherty as Jillian, and Jet Miller as Vanessa will also reprise their roles in the show’s sophomore season. It’s not yet known how many episodes Peacock has ordered, but it may be 10 new half-hour installments same as the first season.

We don’t have a release date yet! Be sure to stay tuned to Hidden Remote as we continue to bring you news and updates about Killing It season 2.

You can watch all 10 episodes of the comedy’s first season, streaming right now on Peacock.
