Right-winged political activist and actor Laurence Fox is under hot water this week after sharing a highly offensive image. Since changing his profile photo, he was temporarily banned from the social media site for violating the Twitter rules and has now been reinstated.

On Monday, Fox took to Twitter and changed his profile photo to an image depicting Pride flags in the shape of a swastika. Naturally, it didn’t take long for the Lewis alum to be flooded with responses and urges to take down the picture. Many found his decision to upload the image to be very upsetting and straight-out wrong. It did not take long for Twitter to see and take action.

Out of all the responses to Fox surrounding this incident, many are reacting to actress Kathy Burke who decided to send out an angry tweet targeted at the English actor. The Kevin and Perry actress did not tag Fox, but it didn’t take long for him to see her message and send a response back himself.

In her tweet, which can be viewed here, Burke wrote: “The existence of Lawrence Fox is another reason to be pro abortion.” Her message also comes after the news that the United States Supreme Court has ruled to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Burke’s fans replied to her tweet hours later by letting him know that she had allegedly made Fox cry, linking to a video he shared to social media in response. You can see his video response here.

A spokesperson for Twitter discussed the situation with the Mirror, saying:

"“We took enforcement action on the account referenced for violating our rules on Abusive Profile Information and Hateful Conduct. The account owner was required to remove the violative profile image before regaining access to their account.”"

Fox is known to share his bold and sometimes highly offensive opinions and thoughts on social media, and many are hoping he will soon be banned from Twitter permanently.
