Ticket To Paradise release date, cast, trailer and more

The time has come for actors George Clooney and Julia Roberts to reunite on the big screen! Not only that, the two haven’t really done romantic comedy films since the late ’90s/early 2000s. And boy have we missed them in this genre! We’ll be seeing the two co-stars in Ticket to Paradise come this fall.

The actors also serve as producers. The movie was directed by Ol Parker, and he co-wrote the script with Daniel Pipsk. Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Sarah Harvey, Deborah Balderstone, Grant Heslov, Lisa Gillan, and Marisa Yeres Gill are also attached as producers.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film was filmed in Queensland, Australia. It was supposed to be released in September, but was briefly delayed due to COVID-19 in early 2022.

Ticket to Paradise release date

The new rom-com will be in theaters beginning Friday, Oct. 21. Variety reports the film will stream on Peacock 45 days after its theatrical release, which would be Dec. 5, 2022.

Ticket to Paradise synopsis

The duo team up once again to play a divorced couple. When their daughter impulsively decides to marry a local in Bali where she’s vacationing, her parents fly out to try and stop her from making the same mistake they think they made 25 years ago. The two team up and scheme to try and break the couple apart to prevent her from marrying someone she just met and throwing her career away.
