9 new Netflix movies and shows to watch this week (July 4)

Happy 4th of July to all of you. I hope you enjoy your day by binging the latest from Stranger Things and shooting off fireworks. Like we do each and every week, below we share all the new Netflix movies and shows debuting beginning the week of July 4, 2022.
I know we are reeling from those two episodes (mini-movies) of Stranger Things and rightfully so, they were insane. However, Netflix is not holding back this week with a TON of new releases for us to watch.

We have another murder mystery documentary coming to us this week with Girl in the Picture. The story follows a woman dying by a road that left behind a son and a man claiming to be her husband. A massive mystery unfolds after. When I watch these, I swear it makes me do double-takes when I’m out and about doing things. I feel like they make us all suspicious of EVERYTHING.
The one I am looking forward to the most is the upcoming Spanish series The Longest Night. The show is based on Christmas Eve when a group of armed men surround a prison and cut off communications to the outside. The men are after one man, a serial killer, but the prison warden refuses to let them have him. I ‘m all in on this one as this sounds right up my alley!
