All American: Homecoming season 2 premiere date, cast, plot, and more

All American: Homecoming is, so far, the lone freshman series on The CW to avoid the network’s axe. We’re at 11 shows and counting this year alone, but Simone Hicks and Damon Sim’s story will, thankfully, continue on, though the two may not be at Bringston University together for long given that season 1 finale.

Fans of the All American spin-off series can anticipate seeing the show return with new episodes in the fall. Since its arrival, All American Mondays have been a welcome addition to The CW’s line-up. Both shows are the only sports dramas to succeed on the network, and we’re hoping All American: Homecoming will be with us for as long as its parent show has been.

While details are sparse on what to expect in All American: Homecoming season 2, we do have some idea of what fans should be preparing themselves for and let’s just say it’s Drama with a capital D.

The second season of All American: Homecoming premieres Monday, Oct. 10 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW after All American season 5 premieres.

All American: Homecoming season 2 plot

An official synopsis for season 2 hasn’t been released. However, we do know that we’ll be dropped back into drama with Simone and Thea as they’re once again at odds due to the injury Thea sustained using Simone’s racket and they’re feelings for Damon who Thea is seeing.

Damon may not have much time to be stuck in the middle though considering he’s trying to leave Bringston baseball due to the unexpected news that he actually is Jesse’s son and JR’s brother. He detests Coach Shaw, but it looks like his loathing for Jesse could be stronger.

Also, with Bringston’s future secured, the newly minted President Amara Patterson will have a lot of work on her hands. Not to mention, family dinners are about to be tense with all the drama going on. Plus, we still need an update on Coach Turner, his mental health, and Amara’s relationship with him as well.
