It looks like funnyman James Corden had a less than comedic time out in London, England this week as it’s been reported he was knocked off his bike by a fellow cyclist riding by. The Sun has the full report from a bystander, along with a video of the celebrity taken a few moments after he was thrown off his bicycle.

According to the report, Corden was filmed picking up his bicycle after being knocked off, without any serious injuries, as his wife Julia Carey went over to check on him. Allegedly — and this was not captured on camera — the late-night TV host then went off on the cyclist who hit him, reportedly cursing at the culprit. Here’s what an onlooker told the publication of the incident:

"“Corden was fuming. This young cyclist just darted across the road and sent him flying. It must have really taken him by surprise. He had no cuts or bruises but it must have hurt. He ticked off the cyclist who said ‘sorry.’ Everyone just stopped and stared when they realised who it was.”"

It doesn’t look like Corden has responded publicly to the whole ordeal, but we’re sure he’s not paying attention to all the noise. Currently, it looks like he’s in a crossroads in his life after it was announced

he would be leaving The Late Late Show

after eight and a half years at the time of his departure in 2023. Of course, all eyes are on him to see what he decides to do next.

Gavin & Stacey fans still hold out hope for another reunion

, but that’s not looking likely — at least not anytime soon.

Next up, we know Corden will appear

in a show called Mammals

, a comedy-drama for Amazon Prime Video which will also star Sally Hawkins.
