A new season of High School Musical: The Musical The Series has officially begun and there is a lot of change in the air this season! Not only is the series on the move to a new setting, but there have been a lot of changes to the cast. In fact, the High School Musical: The Musical The Series season 3 cast looks quite different from the season 2 cast!

While many of our favorite cast members are back, a handful of the show’s series regulars have had their status changed this season with some shifting to recurring guest star roles and others missing entirely from the cast list.

Who’s new to the HSMTMTS season 3 cast?

High School Musical: The Musical The Series season 3 introduces a handful of new faces to the cast including a few familiar Disney stars popping up in recurring roles this season! Joining the cast as series regulars this season are Saylor Bell Curda as Maddox and Adrian Lyles as Jet, two campers at Camp Shallow Lake.

Also joining the cast as recurring guest stars this season are Corbin Bleu as himself, Meg Donnelly as Val, Jason Earles as Dewey Wood, Aria Brooks as Alex, Liamani Segura as Emmy and Ben Stillwell as Channing. The season will also welcome Jesse Tyler Ferguson and JoJo Siwa in guest starring roles.

Our final key additions to the cast are this season’s dancers which includes So You Think You Can Dance season 16 winner Bailey Munoz as well as Jason Hancock, Mackenzie Jarrett, Jarred Manista, Alyssa Massimiani, Will Simmons, Lauren Wallingford and Arielle Wilson.

Who left HSMTMTS?

Although there was a lot of speculation over whether Olivia Rodrigo would be back for season 3, we can confirm Rodrigo did not leave the show — though the same can’t be said for some of her co-stars. Among those who are not attached to return as part of the season 3 cast are Mark St. Cyr as Mr. Mazzara, Roman Banks as Howie, Alex Quijano as Mike, Alexis Nelis as Natalie and Derek Hough as Zack.
