It was a big day for Lisa Kudrow this past Saturday, July 30, as the Friends alum celebrated her 59th birthday! In typical fashion, fans of the actress took the time to send her well wishes on social media, and that even included some of her former co-stars. Not surprisingly, Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox shared their love for their old cast mate on Instagram, which had Friends fans everywhere melting.
Kudrow, who is best known for her iconic role as Phoebe Buffay in the long-running NBC sitcom, was showered with love for her special day. As reported by E! News, Aniston, who played Rachel Green on Friends, and Cox, who played Monica Geller, took to their Instagram stories to share throwbacks and adorable photos of the birthday girl.
For Aniston’s part, she shared an old photo of herself and Kudrow to her page, along with a gif of their characters on Friends, and finally a newer selfie of the two together. She wished her happy birthday and was sure to add a simple yet effective “I LOVE YOU!” to the tribute. How adorable!
In similar fashion, Cox shared a video of herself and Kudrow together, showing the two former co-stars laughing. “Happy Birthday loot. You make everything better. And funnier!” Cox wrote for her friend.
Kudrow is sure to have a fantastic year ahead of her. Although her recent Netflix show Space Force was canceled, she has multiple projects in the works, not to mention the currently-airing series Who Do You Think You Are? which she executive produces. The Emmy Award winner is set to star in an upcoming comedy-horror film called The Parenting, along with an untitled Netflix project from Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker.
We hope Lisa Kudrow had a wonderful birthday! The best is yet to come.
