What is Super/Natural about?
There’s a new series coming to Disney+ that may have fans of the Winchester brothers confused. What is Super/Natural about?
Sometimes, TV show names tend to be a little too similar. If you thought the upcoming Disney+ series was going to be linked to Supernatural, you wouldn’t be alone. At first glance, it looks the same. It’s important to note the slash between the two words.
Super/Natural is definitely not connected to The CW series. Not only will Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki not show up, but the series is in a completely different genre. Super/Natural is a National Geographic docuseries that fans of nature and wildlife won’t want to miss.
What is Super/Natural on Disney+ about?
The new docuseries is perfect for fans of Blue Planet and other similar offerings. If you’re a Discovery fan or Animal Planet viewer, you’ll also want to check out this new series.
Developed by James Cameron and narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch, the series looks at the secret powers and super-senses of the world’s most extraordinary animals. It pulls viewers into the world that these creatures see and hear, which are vastly different to the human’s view of the world.
There’s a chance to see the view of a bee, while also listening to conversations between elephant seals. You also won’t want to miss the glow-in-the-dark squirrel.
It’s not often that we get to see creatures in their own habitats. We don’t get a chance to really experience what they do, but it’s important to understand just how impressive they are without being caged up or placed in tanks. That’s the beauty of Blue Planet, and it’s certainly going to be the benefit of this new series.
All episodes will drop at once and focus on different creatures around the world.
Super/Natural is coming to Disney+ on Wednesday, Sept. 21.
