Flowers in the Attic: The Origin, the prequel to the controversial Flowers in the Attic film series, has been holding down the 8 o’clock slot on Lifetime since July 9.

The show, which follows Olivia Winfield’s life from when she first met Malcolm Foxworth to her first meeting with her grandchildren that foreshadows the horrible treatment they’ll suffer at her hands. The Lifetime audience has been taken on a ride with this series that’s twisted and twisted through tragedy.

While happiness isn’t exactly absent from Flowers in the Attic: The Origin, it doesn’t stay long either. Anyone who’s tuned into the series, or watched the films, knows nothing good comes from Foxworth Hall nor do those of Foxworth lineage seem to fare well in these stories. But it seems to be addictive storytelling for those who are fans.

Is Flowers in the Attic: The Origin on tonight?

Flowers in the Attic: The Origin came to its conclusion on Saturday, July 30 on Lifetime with “Part 4: The Martyr.” At this time, it’s unknown if a new adaptation of Flowers in the Attic will be done with the cast from the prequel series. We’ll keep you posted on news as it comes in.

Since the show has ended, Lifetime will launch into its August movies dubbed the Love, Lies, and Seduction slate. August is set to be sizzling hot for the network as they explore the dangerous side of love with five movies premiering throughout the month.

First up is A Dangerous Affair which will air tonight at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime. The movie follows a Pilates instructor who starts a steamy relationship with one of her clients, a journalist with a murderous stalker who has an erotic obsession with him. This combination of spice and danger will leave viewers fanning themselves as they sit on the edge of their seat waiting to see what happens next!
