We’re ready to see what the 118 is up to next. The 911 Season 6 trailer makes it clear that there’s an emergency from above.

When it comes to intense dramas, 911 always has us hooked. There’s something crazy happening, whether it involves spiders, full moon antics, or downed planes. Of course, there’s always one big event of the season that pulls in the 118 and others to save the people of the city.

With the fall season almost upon us, we’re ready to see what’s next for Bobby and his team. The great news is we have the first trailer, which gives us a look at potentially the big event of the season. What can we expect?

911 Season 6 release date

FOX renewed the series at the last minute, which meant we didn’t have a clue about where it would sit in the lineup at first. Well, 911 Season 6 is part of the fall schedule, and it will remain in the timeslot that has proven well for it.

We’ll get to see the series premiere on Monday, Sept. 19 at 8/7c on FOX. Episodes will air on Hulu the following day.

911 Season 6 cast

All the usual suspects are returning. That includes:

  • Angela Bassett as Athena Grant-Nash
  • Peter Krause as Robert “Bobby” Nash
  • Oliver Stark as Evan “Buck” Buckley
  • Aisha Hinds as Henrietta “Hen” Wilson
  • Kenneth Choi as Howard “Howie”/”Chimney” Han
  • Jennifer Love Hewitt as Maddie Buckley
  • Ryan Guzman as Edmundo “Eddie” Díaz
  • Corinne Massiah as May Grant
  • Marcanthonee Jon Reis as Harry Grant
  • Gavin McHugh as Christopher Díaz

It looks like we’ll see Maddie back as a dispatcher. Jennifer Love Hewitt took some time off during the fifth season after having a baby, but she is back in the show full-time. Will we get to see Maddie and Chimney make things work?

Meanwhile, Bobby struggled with his alcoholism toward the end of the fifth season. Eddie also struggled with PTSD and panic attacks. The two seem to be each other’s saving graces at the end, and the family is back together.

911 Season 6 trailer

The first promo for the season is out, but it doesn’t give us much in the way of things to expect. It initially looks at some of the big events of previous seasons, including the plane crash and the tsunami. Then at the end, we see people in a football stadium and a giant shadow over the top. It looks like a blimp is coming down in the football stadium, which suggests it’s the big event of the season.

911 Season 6 synopsis

There isn’t much to share about the synopsis of the season. We’ll get to see our favorite firefighters and paramedics at work as they deal with the emergencies in LA. Of course, we also get to see more of Athena Grant and her work as a cop, while also seeing the people who answer the calls in the call center.
