However, there are a few believe the movie series should end. And, surprisingly, this includes Jason Blum himself. Here’s what the CEO of Blumhouse Productions had to say.

Paranormal Activity changed the game for the horror movie genre. The “found footage” style truly took off and became film fans newest obsession. Films in the genre have since fizzled out, but is that the only reason the last few Paranormal movies have been unsuccessful?

Speaking with the source, Blum shared that “The last Paranormal Activity movie was terrible.” The movie he’s talking about is Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin, and we have to agree, it’s not the best in the franchise. But that’s not stopping the series! In fact, there’s another installment on the way in the year 2023.
