Tatiana Maslany to executive produce and star in AMC’s Invitation to a Bonfire

Actress Tatiana Maslany is returning to the AMC network as both an executive producer and the star of a new series, Invitation to a Bonfire. The thriller is set to premiere in 2023 and also stars Freya Mavor, Pilou Asbaek, and others. Here’s everything to know about the upcoming psychological thriller.
During the AMC Networks TCA, it was announced that Tatiana Maslany is the latest star to join AMC’s Invitation to a Bonfire. Maslany, who we will all see star in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law on Disney+ as Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk herself, is most recognized for her role in AMC’s Orphan Black. In Orphan Black, Maslany portrays many characters, giving each of them their own personality. Her performance in the sci-fi drama won her an Emmy Award, among other awards and nominations. Needless to say, we are excited to see Tatiana Maslany in Invitation to a Bonfire.
What is Invitation to a Bonfire on AMC about?
The upcoming series is a psychological thriller that takes place in the 1930s. The story is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Adrienne Celt. Invitation to a Bonfire is a psychological thriller that’ll feature many twists and turns as audiences follow an all-girls boarding school in New Jersey. Mainly, the series will focus on Zoya (Freya Mavor), a young Russian immigrant and groundskeeper, who finds herself in a love triangle with Leo, a novelist, and Leo’s wife, Vera Orlov.
Who will Tatiana Maslany play in Invitation to a Bonfire?
Maslany will be taking on the role of Vera Orlov, Leo’s wife. AMC teases that this will be one “lethal love triangle” and we can’t wait to dive in!
