Spoilers ahead for Bodies Bodies Bodies.
David (Pete Davidson) is the first friend who is discovered dead out by the pool in Bodies Bodies Bodies, which leaves the women making accusations left and right to try and make sense of his death. At first, the girls think Greg (Lee Pace) could’ve done it, as he was invited to the house by Alice (Rachel Sennott) after knowing him for as little as two weeks.
Next, the friends think it could’ve been Max (Conner O’Malley), another member of their group who had left the house after professing his love for Emma (Chase Sui Wonders) the night prior. Emma was dating David, which makes the group think Max and David could’ve gotten into a fight.
By the end of Bodies Bodies Bodies, every character becomes suspicious and there’s multiple other deaths. It’s not until some of the very last moments that we figure out what really happened.
Bodies Bodies Bodies ending explained: Who is the killer?
Bodies Bodies Bodies ends with Sophie (Amandla Stenberg), Bee (Maria Bakalova), and Max as the only survivors. After David’s death, Bee kills Greg in what she thinks was self-defense (though they realize later he was probably harmless), Emma falls down the stairs and dies, Alice is accidentally shot and dies, and Jordan (Myha’la Herrold) falls off the balcony onto a glass table and dies.
So who killed David and started it all? Well, that would be David himself. Accidentally. As it turns out, there really is no killer after all, and Sophie and Bee realize this when they find his phone. They discover a TikTok he was creating at the time of his death, watching the video as he tries to open a champagne bottle with a sword. He fails miserably, and ends up slicing himself in the throat with the sword, killing himself.

The movie ends there, leaving the two ladies having to explain themselves and clean up the mess.
