Bodies Bodies Bodies is now out in theaters nationwide and it should definitely be on your watch list for the weekend. The A24 horror-comedy follows a group of friends getting together to party, but little do they know their actions will have fatal consequences. The fun flick is now Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, and stars Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, Pete Davidson, and Lee Pace, along with up-and-comers Myha’la Herrold, Chase Sui Wonders, and Rachel Sennott.

The film is being dubbed a Gen Z whodunnit, and it certainly does a good job setting that tone. Throughout the movie, the characters are seen on TikTok, using terms like “gaslighting” and “cancel,” and are super nihilistic. If the current generation of young people annoy you, Bodies Bodies Bodies probably isn’t for you. Although it absolutely pokes fun at it.

One of the characters, David (Davidson), is pretty much a typical jerk, wanting to look cool in front of his friends and having no problem insulting his girlfriend in front everyone when he feels insecure. He’s first seen in the pool with the group when Sophie (Stenberg) and Bee (Bakalova) arrive, and we see his bare torso and arms underwater.

Fans of Davidson might’ve been taken aback while watching, as he’s clean of his famous tattoos. The 28-year-old comedian looks pretty different without them, and it might have people wondering whether or not he had them removed.

Did Pete Davidson remove his tattoos?

While Davidson is actually in the process of removing many of his tattoos, he hasn’t gotten rid of all of them yet. If you look closely while he’s seen shirtless in Bodies Bodies Bodies, you can see he has makeup all over his arms and chest. In a behind-the-scenes photo a fan tweeted here, you can get a closer look at the cover-up job.

Earlier this year,

Davidson explained

why he’s decided to remove his tattoos, saying he thought it might be harder to book movie roles with all that ink, also pointing out how long the process of covering them up for parts takes. He told Seth Meyers on

Late Night

: “It takes like three hours — you have to get there three hours earlier to cover all your tattoos, because for some reason, people in movies, they don’t have them that much.”

One day we might see Davidson without any tattoos on the big screen, but for now that’s all just makeup.
