Blue Lock synopsis

Blue Lock tells the story of a talented soccer athlete named Isagi Youichi. Isagi struggles with endless regret after passing up the opportunity to score the winning shot during Nationals. Fortunately, in a turn of events, Isagi receives an invitation to participate in a training program named “Blue Lock”. There, he, along with hundreds of athletes, will undergo intense exercises to become the very best striker and thereby fulfill Ego Jinpachi’s (the creator of the infamous training facility) desire to “destroy Japanese loser football (soccer)” and create the most prolific soccer player in all of Japan.

Unable to let such an opportunity pass, Isagi accepts and embarks on a tumultuous journey that will mold him into an athlete that isn’t afraid to take the winning shot.
