Big Brother season 24 release schedule: What nights is Big Brother on?

Whether you’ve been a superfan since the very beginning or just joined the fandom, sometimes, the dates and times that Big Brother airs are a tad confusing.

Earlier this season, an episode was pushed to a completely different date because of unforeseen circumstances. Fortunately, the sudden change didn’t affect the weekly releases too much, but now, fans are beginning to wonder what the normal schedule of the CBS reality series is, especially since the episodes are getting so juicy that it would be a sin to miss a single second.

Big Brother season 24 release schedule

Generally speaking, Big Brother usually airs new episodes three times a week.

On Sunday at 8:00 p..m. ET, the reality show airs the HOH competition as well as the nomination ceremony. On Wednesday nights at the same time, audiences get to watch the veto competition and get to see whether the Golden Power of Veto was used. Last but not least, on Thursday at 9:00 p.m. ET is the live eviction ceremony, and, most times, the beginning of the brand-new HOH competition.

There are times when the aforementioned dates, times, and competitions change. Sometimes it’s due to scheduling changes. Other times it’s due to the various twists (i.e. double/triple evictions) that may occur throughout the season. But there’s no need to worry. When (or if) this happens, host Julie Chen announces the change beforehand.

Overall, the rule of thumb to know is that Big Brother airs every Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday night on CBS. Unless stated otherwise, this release schedule will continue until Sunday, Sept. 25, when the last episode of season 24 will air.
