A new iteration of The Great British Baking Show has been announced and fans (like me) are certain to be excited! The Great American Baking Show will land on your televisions in 2023 with new hosts, but familiar faces will be there to judge the new reality TV show.

Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood will continue their roles as judges in the new series, while Ellie Kemper and Zach Cherry will continue the original series run of having a pair of hosts. The new series is also mentioned to have a “twist,” so fans might see a fresh new take on the classic series we all know and love.

What fans might be most interested in learning is where they will be able to watch the series? Will it be available to everyone or will there be a cost involved with a streaming service?

Where will you be able to watch The Great American Baking Show?

Love Productions USA is the production company responsible for the original series, The Great Junior Bake Off and The Great Celebrity Bake Off, and they will also be producing this series. The new series will feature a 6-episode season with each episode running at 60 minutes.

Although the series’ “production is underway in the United Kingdom,” fans will have to make sure they have access to a particular channel once it airs. The Great American Baking Show is set to “debut exclusively on The Roku Channel,” so fans will need to make sure they find a way to get a Roku into their lives. Presently, it doesn’t look like there’s a cost associated with gaining access to Roku and their website states it plainly:

“Can I watch Roku Originals for free? Yes, you can stream Roku Originals for free everywhere The Roku Channel is available –no download fees, no signups, no logins, no subscriptions. Just premium entertainment with no strings attached.”

And fans everywhere breathe a sigh of relief! Although it’s important to highlight The Great American Baking Show will “debut” on Roku, so perhaps fans will also have an opportunity to watch the new series down the road on Netflix or another streaming service, if getting access to Roku isn’t readily available for each person.
