The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 begins this week. It’s released weekly, so you’ll need to know when the finale is to binge-watch it. Just how many episodes will there be in this season?

It’s almost time to return to Gilead. June may be out, but the fight is still on, and there’s a good chance that June won’t stay out for too long. The first two episodes of The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 will drop on Wednesday on Hulu.

Just like previous seasons, this is a weekly release. It’s not fun for those who prefer a binge-watch, but it’s been the successful way of releasing shows and keeping people talking about them. It’s not surprising that Hulu is going to do what worked for this series from the beginning.

When you want to binge-watch, you need to know when the finale will air. That means knowing how many episodes are in the season.

The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 episode count

This is a show that doesn’t have a consistent number of episodes, and the pandemic had nothing to do with that. The first season was just 10 episodes long, and then the show went to 13 episodes for the second and third seasons. However, the fourth season was cut back down to 10 episodes.

What about Season 5? That’s going to match the first and fourth seasons. We’ll get 10 episodes this season.

The finale is going to air on Wednesday, Nov. 9. That’s when you’ll be able to binge-watch the season to see June and Serena Joy’s fight against each other and for their own beliefs and needs.

We do know that it won’t be the last. The Handmaid’s Tale Season 6 is confirmed, but that one will be the last season. It will also have 10 episodes. There are talks of The Testaments spin-off, though.
