SEAL Team Season 6 age rating: Is the series suitable for kids?
SEAL Team Season 6 premieres on Sunday, and we simply can’t wait. Is this a show to watch with the kids around? What is the official age rating?
There is no doubt that we’re ready to tune in for the latest season of SEAL Team. With the way things ended in Season 5, we need to know what’s to come next. The trailer does not leave us with a lot of hope about Clay and what that could mean for Bravo Team.
This is the first season to have the full season exclusive to Paramount+. Season 5 did get a four-episode debut on CBS first, but there is’t room in the schedule for that to happen again. That does mean episodes drop in the middle of the night and are ready as soon as you get up on Sunday mornings.
So, you’ll want to tune in right away. Can you do that while the kids are around, or will you need to wait for Sunday night?
SEAL Team Season 6 age rating
The official age rating for the series is still TV-14. This does mean that it’s suitable for teenagers, but it’s not the most appropriate for younger audiences. However, it’s similar to a PG-13 movie, where you make the call for younger children.
Some parents think the age rating should be upped to TV-MA with the move to Paramount+. There does seem to be a lot more violence and gore with the move to streaming, but I’m not personally too sure about that. I guess it comes from having a military background and nothing on the show being all that out of the ordinary for something that sticks to military storylines.
It’s worth watching Season 5 to get an idea as to what to expect, though. Then you can make a decision about the series for your children.
SEAL Team Season 6 premieres on Sunday, Sept. 18 on Paramount+.
