September has been a huge month for Disney+. Then again, it’s been a huge month for Disney in general.

Not only did September give us Disney+ Day on Sept. 8, but over the following three days, the D23 presentation took place. Honestly, it feels like we’re getting spoiled with all of this information about Disney’s upcoming projects.

However, there is still plenty of 2022 left, and with it comes a lot of new releases being added to Disney+ in the meantime. No matter what you’re in the mood for, I’m sure you’ll find something to enjoy from this week’s lineup. Let’s break down the latest batch of Disney+ releases from September 10-16 for your weekend watchlist.

These what’s new on Disney+ (September 10 -16)

As with the previous few weeks, we’re going to be getting new episodes of two series but other than that, there are a few films and show also being added. While this might not be a massive week for releases, Disney is more than making up for it within the rest of the month.

  • High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Season 3, Episode 8 (Sept. 14)
  • Short Circuit, Season 2, Episode 6 (Sept. 14)
  • First Alaskans, Season 1 (Sept. 14)
  • In The Womb: Animal Babies, Season 1 (Sept. 14)
  • She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Episode 5 (Sept. 15)
  • Mija (Sept. 16)
  • The Art of Racing in the Rain (Sept. 16)
  • Coco, Sing-Along (Sept. 16)
  • Gorongosa: Paradise Reborn (Sept. 16)

The list of releases for this week is a bit slim, but that’s not to say it’s a bad list at all. If anything, there are plenty of releases to choose from. Honestly, I’m frankly wondering about what In The Womb: Animal Babies is like because that title sounds pretty strange to me. Either way, at least we’re getting the next sing-along version of a Disney classic with Coco.

Regardless of what you’re looking for, Disney+ should have you covered with at least a release or two to help you relax over the weekend.
